About the colour
Natural colour has a character of its own. Depending on the dyestuff, fabric and dye bath, shades may contain subtle variations and traces of the process. These are not considered imperfections, but part of what makes naturally dyed textiles special.
Natural dyes can also evolve gently over time. To preserve the colour, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and contact with perfume, bleach or harsh chemicals.
Materials, origins & care
Materials: 100% Indian mulberry silk
Hand wash gently in cool water with a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Do not soak. Squeeze out excess water without wringing and leave to air dry away from direct sunlight.
