WORK WITH THE ATELIER

Collaborations

Sanctuary Atelier collaborates with artists, designers, brands and creative spaces on projects where natural colour becomes part of the story.

From capsule collections and installations to events and site-specific projects, each collaboration is developed in conversation - with attention to material, process and place.

POSSIBILITIES

Different forms, same intention

Collaborations can take many forms, depending on your practice, project or vision. This can include:

  • Collections and product development
  • Naturally dyed materials for artworks
  • Installations and exhibitions
  • Site-specific or location-based projects
  • Events, workshops and experiences
  • Colour development and research
  • Material and process development

Each collaboration is shaped around the context, materials and ideas involved.

A SHARED PROCESS

Exploring together

Collaboration means an open and curious exchange.

I bring knowledge of natural dyes, materials and process, and you bring your perspective, practice or vision. Together we explore how natural colour can support and deepen your work.

Rather than working with fixed outcomes, I value a process of experimentation, dialogue and shared discovery. This can lead to unexpected colours, textures and directions that could not be planned in advance.

OUR APPROACH

From idea to realisation

01 - First conversation

We discuss your idea, materials, context and possibilities. This can be a short call or an in-person meeting.

02 - Exploration

Together we define a direction, including materials, techniques and a possible timeline.

03 - Development

Samples, colour trials or test pieces are created to explore and refine the concept.

04 - Realisation

The project is brought to life in the atelier, with ongoing communication throughout the process.

A GOOD FIT

Who I work with

I collaborate with individuals, artists, designers, brands, hospitality and cultural spaces who share an interest in natural materials, thoughtful production and the value of working with place and season.

A collaboration does not need to begin with a fully formed concept. Sometimes an interesting material, location, waste stream, plant or question is enough to begin.

ENQUIRY

Let's explore what's possible

Every project is unique. If you would like to discuss a collaboration, share a little about your idea, the context, materials involved and your desired timeframe.

You don't need to have everything figured out yet – an initial conversation can be a starting point to explore what might be possible.
