Spend a slow summer evening discovering the beauty of natural colour and create a one-of-a-kind textile using flowers, leaves and botanical dyes.

In this intimate workshop, you'll be introduced to the art of bundle dyeing, a centuries-old technique that transforms natural materials into delicate botanical prints on fabric. Through personal guidance and hands-on experimentation, you'll learn how colour, plant matter and textile come together to create unique patterns that can never be replicated.

No previous experience is needed. This workshop is designed for complete beginners as well as anyone looking to reconnect with making by hand.

During the workshop, you'll discover:

• The principles behind natural dyeing
• How bundle dyeing works
• Which botanical materials create different colours and prints
• How to thoughtfully arrange flowers and leaves for beautiful compositions
• Tips for caring for naturally dyed textiles

You'll leave with two naturally dyed pieces to take home:

• One cotton scarf
• One cotton tote bag

Each piece will be completely unique, reflecting the plants, colours and compositions you choose throughout the workshop.
